This is one of the last drilling rigs that I ran prior to getting intelligent
and getting out of the oilfield.
Actually the oilfield went bust and I went back to school and started playing
with computers. This is
where I merge those two professions; on a web page. I thank the Lord everyday
that I am playing
with
computers and not running drilling rigs. I did win ONE! I had one hell of a crew:
Sam (in the
green
hard
hat) is in Deer Lodge, Montana, Steve, my brother (not pictured), is a consultant
in south
Texas
(he has
yet to wise up), and the last I heard, Scurby (in the inappropriate white hat),
was
running
from the law.

UPDATE: Be sure that you get into a profession that cannot be sent overseas.
I now only play with
computers for fun seeing as how my job was sent to India and I was sent
packing.
There's
not
much
call for 50+ year old programmers these days.
UPDATE: Seems like outsourcing wasn't as great as what they thought. I'm back to playing with
computers.
